UNREAL Candy Review

I am a BzzAgent from BzzAgent.com and I was given the opportunity to try and review some of the Unreal Candy. So, I headed out to my local CVS store and bought some. The Unreal candy was located right at the check-out counter and was easy to find. It is packaged in bright, colorful wrapping that really grabs your attention.

Why Unreal Candy? Because the Unreal Candy products have been "unjunked". Meaning that when it comes to "junk", things like corn syrup, hydrogenated fats, GMOs, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, they have all been replaced with real cane sugar, real milk, more peanuts, and more cacao. They contain no artificial flavors, preservatives or hormones; no GMO’s (genetically modified organisms); no hydrogenated oils; and no corn syrup. Instead, they use real sugar, natural oils, and real milk. Also, you don’t need to travel to a fancy health food store or pay a premium to buy our candy, it’s only available where junk food is available. Although no candy is healthy for you, Unreal Candy gives us a better choice to avoid the junk.

The Review:  So far, I have tried the Unreal77 Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Cups,  Unreal8 Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat Bar and the Unreal41 Candy Coated Chocolates.

Unreal77 Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Cups: One of my favorite kinds of candy are Peanut Butter Cups so I had to try the Unreal version. I was not sure if I would actually like the Unreal candy because it is missing all the ingredients that most of us have built a love/hate relationship with. First, the Unreal Chocolate looks somewhat darker than the other brands.  The chocolate had a wonderfully rich flavor without being too overpowering. They could have added a little bit more peanut butter, but overall, it tasted really good. My 11 year old son ate the other one and he said the peanut butter tasted a bit grainy, but he ate the whole thing and said it was good.

Unreal8 Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat Bar: This candy bar was by far my favorite of the bunch. It had a wonderful mixture of chocolate, peanuts and creamy caramel. The caramel was creamy, not sticky. I actually really, really liked this candy bar and will replace the other "junkier" candy bar with this one.

Unreal41 Candy Coated Chocolates: I also bought the candy coated chocolates because M&M's are my youngest son's favorite, and these are the unjunked version. When we opened the bag, the first thing I noticed was that the colors are different from what we are accustomed to. However, I like different and the colors are more of a toned down, natural color. After tasting, it was not the best I've ever had, but it was good and my son who is 3 loved them. So, for a healthier alternative, these are great!

Final thought - Most of the Unreal candy is as good as their junkier versions. I will definitely be replacing some of my chocolate choices with Unreal. There is a slight taste difference between the unjunked and junked candy, but with less calories, less sugar and the absence of all those unhealthy ingredients, I can totally make the switch!
