Real Kids Shades Review

One of every three children in the United States does not receive critical eye care services before the age of six, putting them at risk for early vision loss. Real Kids Shades and Prevent Blindness America, the nation’s oldest eye health and safety organization, have teamed up to raise awareness about the need to protect children’s eyes from the damage caused by unprotected exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays.

It is extremely important to protect our children's eyes. I love how Real Kids Shades provide 100% protection from eye damaging UV-A & UV-B rays. My four boys and I all struggle with light sensitivity and the sun is often painful to our naked eyes. I have bought them sunglasses in the past, but those sunglasses seem more like fun things for my boys to wear rather than the eye protection that I was hoping for. And, I've learned that wearing cheap toy sunglasses can actually do more harm to a child’s eyes than not wearing anything at all. Shaded lenses without 100% UV-A/UV-B protection will relax pupils, causing them to dilate and let more harmful radiation into children’s eyes. But, with Real Kids Shades, my children's eyes are protected and they look "Cool!" These shades are shatterproof and impact-resistant, they aren't too dark so I'm still able to see my boys' eyes and according to my boys, they are comfortable, fit snugly and stay in place well.

My eleven year old loves the Xtreme Chill Shades for 7 - 12 year olds. I am soo glad he likes them so much, I keep these in the car and he wears them everywhere we go.

He also loves the Xtreme Sports Shades for when he's outside playing. He thinks these are the coolest shades he's ever worn. He spends a lot of his free time riding his bicycle and skateboard and he loves the fact that these shades have a strap that goes around the back holding them even more secure to his head. Now he can ride his bike and board with no worries that his shades will fall off and break.

The Real Kids Flex Shades for 3 - 7 year olds fit my six year old perfectly. The frames are just the right size for his face and they hold snugly to his head without slipping off. It also comes with a removable strap.

The Blade Shades are really cool looking too. My six year old really likes how comfortable they are and how grown up they make him look.

And, last but not least is the Flex Duo Shades. My three year old loves wearing sunglasses, but he always has a hard time keeping them on his little face. They also come with the removable strap that helps the Flex Duo Shades stay in place and they look great on him!

All of these Shades are extremely well made and feel really durable. My boys love the way they look and feel, so no complaints here at all!
